About us
Our buckwheat is the fruit of true passion, a healthy and natural product created out of love for organic food. We grow it in the north of Poland, in Warmia, in the village of Ławki, in the very heart of the Natura 2000 region stretching along the banks of the beautiful and wild Pasłęka River.
Lawki Organic has always been a farm. It was once run by great-grandfather Jan and his family, then it passed into the possession of Grandfather Franciszek, and now its host is his grandson, Rafał, who runs it together with his family, putting his whole heart into it. For many years the farm was self-sufficient, producing mainly grain and milk, then there was a phase of BIOTANICA where all our land was in use for preserving protective species of birds, and now we are producing crops again, purely the ORGANIC way. The most important agricultural grain of this place is organic buckwheat, from which we obtain groats, flour and husks, which are then distributed all over the world as a good of Polish nature. Buckwheat is an amazing plant because it does not need any support or help from humans, it only needs good soil to grow beautiful and lush, and since our areas provide it with this, it feels at home here and constantly gives us its wonderful wealth. We always dry its grains at a temperature not exceeding 45℃ to retain all the valuable nutritional values, then we carefully clean, pack and send them around the world. This is how they end up on your plate. We are proud and happy that our buckwheat is served on tables all over the world, and we are even happier knowing that it is the healthiest and purest gift of our mother nature.
